Accessibility statement
Eglinton Foot Clinic wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text.
How this site measures up
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We believe it currently meets that standard.
What that means in practice
- Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link.
- Text and background colours meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
- All images carry alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone.
- The site reflows without horizontal scrolling from 320px upwards, and text can be enlarged.
- Animation is minimal and is switched off entirely if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Every page is fully readable with JavaScript turned off.
Known limitations
The treatments page uses a tabbed layout. With JavaScript enabled it behaves as a standard tab set; without JavaScript every treatment is shown in full on the page instead.
Online booking is handled by Cliniko, a third-party system we do not control. If you have difficulty using it, please call the clinic on 078 4681 6825 and we will book for you.
